Dennis Helfer along with Elaine Helfer are the parents of Helfer. [2] She was born in Alberta, Donalda Canada. Her parents are Dennis and Elaine Helfer. She attended William E. Hay Composite High School in Stettler, Alberta. Three of her sisters Tammy, Tara and Trena resided and worked on their farm owned by her parents. While standing in a theater line the scout of a modelling agency was able to spot Helfer.
