Annabelle Gurwitch
Annabelle Gurwitch was an American actress, comedian, and TV host. Particularly known for her role as the hostess for Dinner and a Movie (TBS) and environmental activist and secular issues. Annabelle Gurwitch has been a very well-respected actress over the years and is also bestselling author of memoirs like No matter where you are, I see that you've made a commitment. You say tomato I say put it down and be fired! It was also featured in an episode of a Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch was the long-running host of TBS's Dinner & a Movie and people watching television remember her memorable appearances on programs including Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown and also as host of the sustainability series WA$TED, which aired on The Planet Green Network. She is a regular guest on PBS Newhour Real Time with Bill Maher and on NPR in addition to writing Op-ed pieces for New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter and satires for The New Yorker and McSweeeneys. In her role as an actor, her appearances on stage have earned her a place among the critics of the 'Top Ten performance within The New York Times as well as The Los Angeles Times.
